The Minnesota Chapter was established in 1998. Currently the chapter has a healthy and active group of about 25+ institutional, individual, and associate members.

Upcoming Events

  • June 17, 2009, 4:00-6:00pm: “Connecting Ourselves, Our Communities, & Philanthropy” at The McKnight Foundation
Talk about diversity and inclusion in the field of philanthropy continues to grab headlines, but what are the implications for philanthropic practitioners and the communities we represent? Come join a discussion about philanthropy’s role in supporting change in marginalized communities from 4-6pm on June 17, 2009. The McKnight Foundation in downtown Minneapolis will provide the venue for our gathering, with the local Joint Affinity Groups serving as co-hosts. The program will include brief updates from these identity-based affinity groups, followed by small-group discussions about authentically connecting our values and dreams as individuals and community members. This dialogue will help set the stage for a broader gathering in the future. Concluding with a social hour, this promises to be an opportunity for sharing, learning and relationship-building.
