About the New York Chapter

The New York chapter is comprised of nearly 70 full and associate members representing institutions in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. In addition to representing funders as diverse as corporate giving programs, large established philanthropies, and small family foundations, the chapter has members associated with some of the area's leading Asian American organizations. The goal of the New York chapter is to develop programs and workshops that BUILD relationships between funders, policy makers, and advocates that are timely and relevant to the Asian American philanthropic community in New York City, especially programs that encourage communication and raise awareness of and funding for API organizations.
