Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) is a national membership and philanthropic advocacy organization dedicated to bridging philanthropy and Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. Our members include foundations, staff trustees of grantmaking institutions, and nonprofit organizations in nine regional chapters in the United States. AAPIP engages AAPI communities and philanthropy to address unmet needs, serves as a resource for and about AAPI communities, supports and facilitates giving by and to AAPI communities, and incubates new ideas and approaches for social justice philanthropy. WHY SHOULD I BECOME AN AAPIP MEMBER?

Become an advocate in the field and in your community. Your support helps us to advance our work to incubate new models of social justice philanthropy, including:

  • THE NATIONAL GENDER & EQUITY CAMPAIGN. Created from the leadership of Asian American and Pacific Islander women, the Campaign is a momentous effort to support and rally AAPI and philanthropic sectors to build equitable and strong empowered communities together.
  • GIVING CIRCLES. Through our work administering & supporting regional circles, we work to stimulate and facilitate giving within our own Asian American/Pacifi c Islander communities.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Please fill out a membership form and send to AAPIP with payment. Be sure to check which membership category applies to you.

Institutional Members. Foundations and other grantmaking entities.
ANNUAL FEE BASED ON INSTITUTIONAL ASSETS

Full Members. Staff and trustees of grantmaking entities.
ANNUAL FEE: $250/YEAR OR $450 FOR TWO YEARS

Associates. Staff of nonprofit organizations with interest in serving
the AAPI communities.
ANNUAL FEE: $100
