What is the National Donor Circle?
AAPIP’s National Donor Circle (NDC) is an ambitious effort to expand the national AAPI community’s pool of donors. NDC members each contribute $10,000 or more to the circle. In turn, funds from the NDC are used to match funds raised by each of the regional giving circles that AAPIP supports, effectively doubling each dollar in some cases, and always expanding the donor base. It is a simple, yet powerfully ambitious concept that benefits the community on multiple levels – from expanding a pool of significant donors across the nation to leveraging resources for regionally-based giving circles that support direct, community-based initiatives.
The NDC is a fully-realized vision of philanthropy that harnesses the community’s entire spectrum of assets. It has already demonstrated significant impact and dramatically increases the capacity of the community to address its own needs.
